Knowledge

This section provides detailed information on how to use the Knowledge section of your chatbot

Go to Bots page from the sidebar. Click on the Knowledge section, then click on Add Data. The Knowledge section for that bot appears.

You will see different tabs for adding different data. We will go through each one step-by-step.

Add Web Content

  1. From the tabs at top select the Web Content tab.

  1. To add website, go to Websites tab, enter the website/websites and hit upload.

  1. To add webpage/webpages, go to Webpages tab, enter the webpage/webpages urls and hit upload.

  1. To add files on your webapp, go to Urls tab, enter file urls and hit upload.

Add Files

  1. PDF / TXT / CSV / Word / Excel Files can be added to the Knowledge Base.

  2. Select the File Upload tab from the tabs at the top in the Knowledge section, select Add Files and you can upload files either through drag & drop or through the upload button.

You will see your files listed on this page once you have uploaded them.

Embed Data after upload

After you upload any content i.e. files, webpages, entire websites, or files hosted on website. You would be asked to embed the data

Simply go to Embed Data Tab, then depending on your data uploaded you would be required to either Process it and then embed or just embed.

The processing is done when you upload websites which are scraped and several URLs are retrieved. When you hit Process Now button, you would be asked to select your webpage to embed. Depending on your plan you will see a limit on the number of webpages you can embed for your bot.

Select your webpage, confirm selection, and finally embed.
