Edit Your Bot

This section provides detailed information on how to edit you chatbot, once it is created.

This is a step-by-step guide to edit your bot.

Go to Bots page from the sidebar. Click on the Edit Bot button of the bot you want.

There are four sections to manage your bot: Bot Details, Bot Settings, Bot Appearance and Tune Your Bot.

Bot Details

In this section, you can change the name of your chatbot, it's personality types and the main language that your chatbot will be using. Click Update button once you finish editing.

Bot Settings

In this section you can manage the basic functions that your chatbot have.

Update Multilingual Status

  1. Select Yes if you want your bot to be multilingual and No if you don't want it to be multilingual.

  2. If you don't want to change anything else, click on the Update button in bottom right of the page.

Update Voice Responsive Status

  1. Select Yes if you want your bot to be voice responsive and No if you don't want it to be voice responsive.

  2. If you don't want to change anything else, click on the Update button in bottom right of the page.

Update Source Preview Status

  1. Select Yes if you want to enable source preview for your bot and No if you want to disable source preview for your bot.

  2. If you don't want to change anything else, click on the Update button in bottom right of the page.

Update Chat Private Status

  1. Select Yes if you want the conversation content not be saved or used for model training and No if otherwise.

  2. If you don't want to change anything else, click on the Update button in bottom right of the page.

Update Calendar Integration Status

  1. Select Yes if you want to integrate your calendar with your chatbot and No if you don't want to integrate your calendar with your chatbot.

  2. In case you selected Yes, enter URL of your calendar the field.

  3. If you don't want to change anything else, click on the Update button in bottom right of the page.

Bot Appearance

Update Avatar of Chatbot

  1. Click on the Avatar button to update Avatar of your chatbot.

  2. Select the new image. The Upload button will change into the preview for the avatar.

  3. Click on the preview again to change the image.

  4. If you don't want to change anything else, click on the Update button in bottom right of the page.

Update Theme Colour for the Chatbot

  1. Provide a HEX / RGB / HSV value for colour or use the colour picker to pick a specific colour for your chatbot.

  2. You can see the preview for the theme in the Chatbot Preview at right side.

  3. If you don't want to change anything else, click on the Update button in bottom right of the page.

Tune Your Bot

  1. You can change the existing description or write a new one.

  2. If you don't want to change anything else, click on the Update button in bottom right of the page.

  3. It will Update the Tune your Bot description of your Chatbot.
