Edit Chat Agent

The Edit Chat Agent page allows you to update your agent's name, appearance, behaviour, and widget settings.

How to access the Edit page

Click the Edit Chat Agent icon, and you'll first see the agent's overview screen.

This page displays:

  • Current agent details

  • Sitemap status

  • Chat Agent Configuration summary

To start editing:

  1. Locate the Edit Chat Agent button in the top-right corner

  2. Click Edit Chat Agent

This will open the full edit window.


Basic tab

In the Basic tab, you can edit the core settings of your agent:

Agent Name Update the name of your chat agent.

Chat Agent Image Upload or change the avatar image.

Agent Role / Description Select the personality type, such as:

  • Customer Support

  • Marketing

  • Lead Generation

  • Assistance and Helping

  • Intriguing

  • Smart and Funny

Language Choose the language your agent will respond in.

Answer Length Control how long replies will be.

Timezone Set the timezone for your agent.

Tune Your Model Add custom instructions to control how the agent behaves and responds.


Configuration tab

Switch to the Configuration tab to customise your widget experience.

You can edit:

Theme Colour Change the main colour of your widget.

Font Colour Select the text colour.

Privacy Settings Enable Do not record chat history to prevent storing conversations.

Show References Toggle whether the agent displays sources in its answers.

Bubble Message Customise the welcome message shown in the chat bubble.

Widget Questions Add preset questions that users can click inside the chat widget.

Agent Preview See a live visual preview of how your widget will look.


Saving changes

Click Save to store your updates
