Live Preview

The Live Preview lets you interact with your chat agent exactly as your users would. This allows you to verify behaviour, responses, formatting, and knowledge usage before deploying to your website.

This is useful for checking:

  • Your agent's responses

  • Knowledge accuracy (after embedding or updates)

  • Design and UI behaviour

  • Accessibility settings

  • Voice and message input


Accessing the Live Preview

  1. Go to Chat Agents from the left sidebar.

  2. Find the agent you want to test.

  3. Click the Live Preview icon in the table.

This will open a new page with your agent loaded in full-screen preview mode.


Preview Interface

The preview page displays your agent exactly as end users will experience it:

  • Chat window for sending and receiving messages

  • Input bar supporting text, voice, and message send

  • Live response flow, typing indicator, and message styling


Agent Settings (Top-right Menu)

Click the accessibility icon in the top-right corner to open Agent Settings.

Available settings:

  • Dyslexia Mode – Adjusts fonts for better readability

  • Dark Mode – Switches the UI to a dark colour scheme

  • Font Size – Choose between S, M, or L for the entire chat interface

These settings help you preview how your end users may customise their viewing experience.


Notes

  • Live Preview reflects the agent's latest knowledge only after you run Embed Data.

  • Refreshing the Live Preview page resets the chat window. Previous messages will no longer be visible once the page reloads.

  • Chat history is still fully accessible. To review earlier conversations with this agent, visit the Chat History section in the main sidebar.
